Smartmessages.net is an email marketing service which places its primary focus on preserving the privacy and data protection rights of data subjects, and helps users of the service to maintain the same high standards of data hygiene. Smartmessages sets no cookies, loads no external resources, does not use any trackers (such as Facebook pixels or Google analytics). For mailing list subscribers, double-opt-in is enforced, and all tracking is disabled by default. Smartmessages also honours the W3C "Do Not Track" header. Data subjects are able to view, edit, amend, or delete any data stored or processed on behalf of the data controllers for whom Smartmessages acts as a processor. Services are run from the smartmessages.net and smm.im domains.
