You can request to permanently delete your PI by clicking on “Delete“ on the “<a href="https://www.chess.com/my-data">My Data</a>“ section of the Services. In this case, we will delete or anonymize your PI, and the information that will remain public such as games statistics, posts and comments, and block your email address and social media accounts from being used on Chess.com in the future. Anonymized data is no longer considered personal information under privacy laws, it cannot be reasonably used to identify you as an individual.</p> <p>Please note that in cases where a user's account has been closed due to violations of our Terms of Service, we may retain certain PI, such as the username, in a non-anonymized form.
