MetaGer does not use personal data for advertising. Sorry if the wording in our privacy policy was unclear. I've just updated it to be more clear and added information on exactly what parts of the user agent get "leaked" to our ad provider—specifically the browser brand (eg. Firefox), if supplied the general device type (eg. mobile or desktop) and if supplied the operating system name (eg. Ubuntu). This information should not be considered personal data.
And of course we don't use an advertising id or profile.
