Unless your Paid Subscription has been purchased as a Pre-Paid Period, your payment to Spotify will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period, unless you cancel your Paid Subscription through your subscription page before the end of the current subscription period. The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and you will be downgraded to the Free Service.

Spotify provides a link in order to cancel your subscription to their services, which you can do at any time. However, the cancellation takes effect after the last day of the current subscription period, so if you cancel before the end of the subscription period, Spotify will not offer you a refund.
