we should set up some general guidelines for clauses like this, and document how we treat them. in this case, mint.com only works with US banks, so this will only affect holiday goers.
in general, most services we review are primarily based in the US, meaning there is a division between the ones that have a secondary business seat in, say, Ireland, and the ones that don't. another example is dropbox which is not available in Cuba. but Facebook, Amazon and Google are, for example.
In the case of mint.com there is a link to geographical situation (the US banks that mint.com links to), so like with Spotify, who only have distribution contracts for certain countries and not for others, we can accept that this is a 'geographically biased' service, and not a global service.
