This is ambiguous...the case applies when personal data is used to target marketing communications, or when a user contact is used for marketing without their explicit opt-in.
While they do say data is used for pop-up communications, they do not collect any personal data that would serve any of these two purposes.
What are your thoughts?

I had already read the entire quote, but among the personal data that is collected there is nothing that would be used to target marketing, so I don't think this can fit.
