To better understand the types of queries Leo AI is used for, we use <a href="https://brave.com/privacy-updates/19-star/">STAR</a> and <a href="https://brave.com/blog/nebula/">Nebula</a> to learn aggregated insights without leaking individual behavior. In addition, we only extract non-identifying metadata, such as the broad category of a usery query, the language the query is written in, and the AI model used. For example, Brave may learn that a certain percentage of users engage Leo AI for creative writing, but not which users or even what they wrote.
