Vector app does NOT track location. What is mentioned above is true as of v0.3.3 that individual relay operators may log IP addresses or connection times according to their own policies, BUT the user may host and can choose their own relay. This is subject to change with newer security and privacy protocols implemented with time.

Vector will integrate optional Tor for v0.4.0 (which obfuscates your IP regardless of the rest of your settings, even with Metadata/Web Previews enabled, it is obfuscated).
