For example, if you put your mailing address on your talk page, that is public, and not protected by this Policy. And if you edit without registering or logging into your account, your IP address will be seen publicly. Please think carefully about your desired level of anonymity before you disclose Personal Information on your user page or elsewhere.
This is a disadvantage and terrible idea for users who added information they did not realize they should not have added to the site. This is especially a detriment for any minors (users under the age of 21) who use the service, whenever they add content which could affect them or hurt them.
