If any provision of these Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in whole or in part then, at the Company's sole option, such provision shall be severed from the Conditions the validity of the other provisions of these Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby and the parties shall use their reasonable endeavours to agree an equivalent but valid replacement provision or the Contract shall terminate forthwith following reasonable written notice from the Company to the Customer.</p> <p>12.4.
