You and Ookla each irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of the federal or state courts located in New York, New York, the Borough of Manhattan (the “Courts”) with respect to any action, suit or proceeding arising out of or related to this Agreement or to the Services
New York recently introduced some new privacy laws that are quite strong for consumers called the New York Privacy Act (NYPA). The NYPA includes: large fines, the ability for individuals to take legal action a company; enforcement of the NYPA regardless of location as long as NY residents are involved; right to review, edit and delete personal information; prevent discrimination for enacting the law.
